An invitation to worship...

Forgiving Faithfully

 Dear Church Family,

This week I'll be sharing a message on forgiveness that has been a personal one for me. Our Scripture texts are Luke 17:1-10 and Psalm 137 and they take us straight into the raw, honest, and often painful work of forgiveness. It is not easy. Sometimes forgiveness feels downright impossible. And yet, Jesus doesn't just suggest it, He commands it. Even when it takes all the faith we can muster.

In tomorrow's sermon, I'll be sharing a story from my own journey - a season of ministry when I was deeply wounded and wrestled with the question, "Lord, how can I forgive this?" It was through tears, the words of a psalm, and the unexpected voice of my PawPaw that God began to do something in me.

Maybe you're carrying something like that too.
So, let me ask you...
  • Is there someone you're struggling to forgive?
  • Have you been wronged by someone you love?
  • Do you need to seek forgiveness yourself?
  • Are you just trying to hold on to your faith in the middle of your pain?
If so, then come.

Bring your hurt. Bring your questions. Bring your faith, even if it's just the size of a mustard seed. Let's worship the One who has forgiven us completely and now invites us to do the same. Not because it's easy, but because it's our duty, and because Christ is at work in us, doing the work through us.

Come early for coffee and conversation. Stay late for prayer and connection.
And most of all, come ready to encounter God's grace in a real and powerful way.

Or, if you're joining us for worship online, you can find the Sunday morning service on our app or at any of the links below.

Grace and peace,

Pastor Joel Heald
