College Church,
Sunday is coming! Jill and I are looking forward to being at College Church for the next three weeks. What a privilege. We both grew up in small towns in Ohio going to wonderful (but small) Nazarene churches. And when we came to Olivet as students we quickly fell in love with College Church. It has been part of our lives ever since. The messages, the music, and a loving congregation have shaped our lives for more than fifty years.
We attended as students and then during our first year of marriage. Later, when teaching at ONU, we joined College Church. Then I became the Senior Pastor for eight years and retained our membership during my time as the president of Olivet and we are still members! We attend each week online.
I can’t wait to see you and share worship with you. The message is “What do you seek?” which is taken from John 1:35-39.
Let’s also be in prayer for Pastor Mark and Debi as they take a well-deserved break to visit family.
Not only will Jill and I be with you but, more importantly the Lord Jesus will join us as well.
