Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6). He came to earth to point the way to the Father, living and teaching truth, and being the LIFE — offering salvation for those who would believe on him. Jesus’ earthly life was lived relationally, day-by-day, life on LIFE, teaching and modeling a life his followers could emulate. When his earthly mission was drawing to a close, Jesus commanded all disciples — present and future, them and us — to go and do what he had done, to go and make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20).
Discipleship in relationship is foundational for Christian faith.
We cannot be Christ’s disciples unless we imitate and obey him.
We grow together through discipleship.
Everything we do at College Church is focused on following Jesus in life changing community, being and making Christian disciples. We are disciples that grow, fellowship, serve, and worship together. We are seeking to know, act and be like Christ. Whether we are gathered in worship, prayer, around a meal, serving others, studying the Word in Sunday School or Life Changing Community (LCC) groups, we are following Christ and living into his discipleship command.
