Parish Nurse

Ministry

The Parish Nurse ministry at College Church is a volunteer position that began with Dot Bendix, RN, MSN, as the Parish Nurse in January 2017.  A Parish Nurse, is a registered nurse (RN) who serves a church by promoting health and wellness, and integrates the practice of faith with the practice of nursing.

Margaret became my SOS. If I needed her, all I had to do was call. She ran over, told me if I needed to call an ambulance, and waited with me… It was so comforting.
