The World Evangelism Fund helps to create and sustain ministries and allows ministry personnel to spread the gospel. The funds are distributed to various regions, missionaries, and ministries around the globe. Some examples of ministries that WEF makes possible include: new churches, missionaries, Christian literature and resources, holiness education, and partner ministries (eg: Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, Jesus Film).
Nazarene Compassionate Ministries is partnering with local congregations in Ethiopia, Liberia, and Ghana to provide education in literacy, mathematics, financial management, and business practices. This project also provides vocational training in cosmetology, bee keeping, baking, sewing, and soap making. When women are empowered to earn an income and contribute to their family, local rates of child nutrition, community health, infant survival, and education all improve.
Our partnership with specific missionaries allows us to build relationships with them, bless them with gifts for birthdays and Christmas, and pray for them on the mission field.
Our Care & Connect missionaries for 2025 are Ron & Shelly Miller.
Nińos de Mexico is a Christian organization that has established group homes for children without families in Mexico City. Our GO Teams have worked with Nińos de Mexico on several mission trips including one this past August. Children receive the help they need to succeed and ultimately, they learn about the many ways God loves and cares for them.
This fund will be used to purchase gas and gift cards for local benevolence needs.
Center of Hope serves our community by giving out groceries 3 days a week. They generally serve between 175 to 250 families per day.
The Iglesia church is a new Nazarene church plant that is ministering to the Hispanic community in St. Anne. These funds will be used to update their kitchen and purchase new signage.
