Our Vision for Senior Adult Ministries:
To provide activities that will encourage the growth of existing friendships while encouraging new friendships to develop.

Our Goal for Senior Adult Ministries:
To take every opportunity to strengthen and equip the senior adults of College Church in their faith so that they would be a witness to the younger families of College Church and to other senior adults in our community.

mondaY afternoon fellowship

Every other Monday afternoon we gather from 1-3PM in Room 100 for fellowship and fun.

puzzle pals

Jigsaw, crossword, sudoku, and more! Come spend some time putting together a masterpiece!

stitch & chat

Bring a sewing project you've been working on at home and stitch while you visit! Or, if you'd like to try your hand at something new, Rachel Greenawalt will be available to get you started!

craft classes

Occasionally we have special crafting classes led by talented members of our congregation.

soup, salad, & scriptures

1st Wednesdays | 5:30PM | Cafe

On the first Wednesday of each month, we gather for a meal and fellowship in the cafe before the midweek service. The soup and salad are provided. We'd love for you to join us!

reconnect midweek service

Wednesdays | 6:30PM | Choir Room

On Wednesday evenings, Pastor Mark facilitates a lively and formative conversation around specific Bible passages. This season we are taking a closer look at prayers of the Old Testament. All are welcome and we invite you to join us as we encounter the Word together.

WIDOWER'S CONNECTION

The Widowers’ Connection is a group of dedicated widowers who reach out to others who have lost loved ones by providing friendship, conversation, and consolation. We meet once a week to discuss the steps we have taken to process our grief at the loss of a wife. We understand that the death of a loved one may be the most painful experience that anyone may endure in life. The loss of a loved one may lead to feelings of despair, loneliness, or confusion. The encouragement and support of others who have suffered a loss may help grieving persons learn how to survive as they go through the journey of grief.

Whether you are a recent widow or have been a widow for some time, we believe that in Lunch Bunch Connections you will find compassion and support mixed with fun and laughter. We meet once a week for lunch and fellowship and provide an environment where widows can gather for encouragement and building friendships.
