Christmas Eve by Candlelight

December 24, 6PM

Join us for a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service of Nine Lessons and Carols. This service is tells the story of God’s saving love through a series of scripture readings and familiar Christmas carols. As we move from the prophets’ promises to the joyful celebration of Christ’s birth, the combination of lessons and music invites us to reflect, rejoice, and enter the wonder of Christmas.

SCRIPTURE IN THE SANCTUARY

Monday-Friday
December 1 - 23
7:30 AM & 12:30 PM
During the season of Advent, our church is offering a simple, sacred way to pause amid the busyness and prepare our hearts for Christ’s coming. Scripture in the Sanctuary invites you to enter the quiet of our sanctuary each weekday of Advent to sit, listen, and reflect. Scripture passages  will be read aloud and they will tie in with the  themes of Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love that guide us through the four weeks of Advent.

Whether you come once or make it part of your daily rhythm, all are welcome to join us as we listen together for God’s voice in this holy season.
For our online congregation and homebound friends who are unable to join us in person, we offer Scripture in the Sanctuary - At Home Edition. We invite you to set aside time at 7:30 AM or 12:30 PM, joining in spirit with those gathered in the sanctuary, and read the passages at the same times they are being read in the church. The link below will take you to a special page where you can find each passage or listen to an audio recording of one of our pastors reading the Scriptures aloud. We encourage you to find a quiet spot in your home - a place that feels peaceful and holy, like a sanctuary - where you can sit, listen, and let God’s Word speak into your day.

GIVING IN LOVE

CHRISTMAS CARE PROJECT

During this season of giving, College Church will be supporting the ministries below.

CENTER OF HOPE LOCAL FOOD PANTRY

Center of Hope serves our community by giving out groceries 3 days a week. They generally serve between 175 to 250 families per day.

NCM PROJECT - GIFT OF LEARNING

Nazarene schools in the Middle East serve students from kindergarten through high school—many of whom are refugees from Syria and Iraq, displaced by war and violence. The schools offer an affordable, quality education alongside spiritual care that includes daily scripture reading, prayer, and weekly chapel services, creating a place where learning and faith go hand in hand.

FORTITUDE

Fortitude’s building, purchased in 2024, has needed a new central air conditioning unit since purchase. With guests now being served at the building, it is a priority to install new units to offer a cool environment in which to eat, shower, and rest in the summer months. At almost $70,000, this new project represents a significant capital investment in need of funding.

CREATIVE ACCESS - MEDICAL EQUIPMENT

We are partnering with missionaries in a creative access country who are raising funds for medical equipment for a treatment center. They also need to purchase desks, chairs, medical storage units, and the patient transport vehicles. This center will treat children with autism, cerebral palsy, and other developmental disabilities.

LOCAL BENEVOLENCE

This fund will be used to purchase gas and gift cards for local benevolence needs.
