STUDENT MINISTRIES

Student Ministries at College Church is an integral part of the life of families of middle and high school students. We love to have fun together! Our vision is to help parents and students develop a sincere and authentic faith, discover a home in the church, and follow Jesus into the world. We know that the teenage years can be some of the most turbulent years for parents and students, and we are honored to join with you on this journey!

In our Sunday morning and Wednesday night gatherings we take Scripture seriously because we believe that God wants to speak to teenagers. Through reading, teaching, discussion, music, and prayer we work to make lots of room for the Holy Spirit to speak. As a team of passionate leaders we work to partner with families as they love and disciple their teens in an every-changing world. We know that Jesus is Lord. Where He goes, we go too.

Sunday Mornings

Sunday 9:00AM | Youth Room

Sunday morning is an opportunity to catch up with friends, share about your week, and dig into Scripture. How do we read the Bible with a thoughtful mind and deep questions? We challenge students to think deeply about what the Bible says and how it applies to their lives today. Donuts are always provided!

Wednesday Nights

Wednesdays 6PM | Youth Room (Dinner 5:30PM)

One of our favorite parts of the week is being together! We will have music, a message, small group discussion, and plenty of fun and laughter along the way as our students are challenged to think deeply about their faith and daily life.

What to expect:
A Biblically based message that meets students where they are at.

A small group discussion time that challenges them to be honest with God and each other.

A team of leaders who love God, like our students, and are eager to disciple them.

Events & Activities

Every year our calendar has lots of opportunities to make unique and fun memories. Some of the highlights include Teen Camp, an orchard run, Winter Retreat, a Christmas trip to Chicago, and an opportunity to serve as a counselor at Everyone Cares Camp! We know how important it is to laugh together and serve together as we follow Jesus into the world.

A Safe Community of Faith

Here at College Church we believe that God equips the local church for meaningful ministry. We have gathered a team of devoted college students and community adults who love God and love students. Each week our leaders are sharing stories, listening intently, and thoughtfully guiding conversations with our students. Their primary role is to be a shepherd to students and families in a pivotal time of faith exploration.

Our top priority is the safety and security of our teens. We have taken every step possible to create a safe, secure, and engaging environment for them while they are being led in worship by experienced and qualified ministry professionals. All of our Student Ministries volunteers have been screened and have had their backgrounds checked, in addition to having received training specifically designed for leading teens in worship.
