Membership
At our church, we are grateful for each person who attends, whether or not they are a formal member. However, we believe that there is still value in formal church membership. It is not a matter of one church being superior to another; rather, it is an individual's commitment to serve within a particular church community.
Joining a church is important because Christians were never intended to live out their faith alone. We are meant to be in community, serving alongside one another as the body of Christ. By formally joining a church, we demonstrate our willingness to walk faithfully with other believers, with all the benefits and responsibilities that come with such a relationship.
As a community, we can achieve far more than we can as individuals. Church members can give financially, volunteer their time, and commit wholeheartedly to a shared vision. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can bring encouragement to one another and make a lasting impact on those around us. A denominational church can also be a powerful force for change, both locally and internationally.
Membership also provides accountability for both the church as a whole and individuals. By committing to a local church, we submit ourselves to the input of other members, who can help us improve and stay on the right path. Without this commitment, we miss out on the benefits of such accountability.
Our church is a recognized society under territorial laws and a registered charity under federal laws. By being a member, you become part of a community that has requirements for accountability, order, and procedures. We invite you to consider membership and become part of our church community.
