Remember, Rejoice, Recommit

Oct 25, 2026

Psalm 78:4 and Hebrews 12:1-2 together call every believer to three essential responses: remember, rejoice, and recommit. Remembering God's faithfulness is not mere nostalgia but an act of faith, recognizing that He never changes and never breaks a promise. His faithfulness almost always has a face, a person who showed up at the right moment and carried the story forward. Rejoicing follows naturally, because the same God who transformed lives in the past is still at work today. The Gospel is still good news, grace is still amazing, and Jesus Christ is still Lord. Recommitment means fixing our eyes on Jesus alone, standing on the authority of Scripture, and grasping the baton to run our own race with perseverance for the next generation.
