"I will go ahead of you into Galilee."

Palm Sunday reminds us that even Jesus' closest disciples failed him spectacularly during his final hours. Judas betrayed him, Peter denied him three times, and all the disciples abandoned him when he was arrested. Yet Jesus wasn't surprised by their failures and had already planned their restoration, saying he would meet them in Galilee after his resurrection. The same grace that covered the disciples' failures extends to us today. Jesus knows our capacity for spiritual shortcomings and has already made provision for them through his sacrifice on the cross.
