"At that moment, you're me," said Jesus.
A bus driver named Charlie changed everything for a man named Jesse simply by showing up at his door week after week with a genuine invitation to church. Jesse was living in addiction and brokenness, but Charlie never demanded he clean up first. He just kept inviting. When Jesse finally got on that bus, he found forgiveness, joy, peace, and life itself. The question worth sitting with is not just when Jesse found Jesus, but when Jesus found Jesse. According to Matthew 10, when a follower of Christ goes out in His name, they carry His presence with them. Charlie knocking on Jesse's door was Jesus knocking on Jesse's door. The commission has not expired, and it does not require expertise. It requires one willing person and one simple invitation.
